Hydraulic Jack – The Master of All
Jack we all know is basically a mechanical lifting device. It is used when heavyweights or loads need to lift. Jack can be different types based on the source of power it utilizes for example:
Mechanical jack – It uses principles of mechanics to lift basically it employs a screw thread for lifting heavy equipment.
Hydraulic jack – It uses hydraulic power. That is the potential power of liquid.
Among the common applications of a jack are car jack, floor jack, or garage jack, which lifts vehicles so that repair needs to be done.
Another way of differentiating between jacks could be the weight they are able to carry. Jacks are usually rated for a maximum lifting capacity. Industrial jacks being the strongest can be rated for huge tons of load.
Hydraulic jacks are not generally the ones used in cars carried along with the vehicle, they are basically used for shop work. The moment we hear the name “Jack” movies roll our mind, pirates also tinkle our mind, but that’s not what we are talking about here. So, pull back all those Caribbean thoughts of adventure. Here we are with the one used in cars and industries and much other waiting to be explored.
Hydraulic jacks are also used in low and medium-rise buildings often used to lift elevators. The concept of hydraulic jack is very basic, it uses a liquid, which is incompressible. Now, this liquid is forced into a cylinder by a pump plunger.
With the help of a plunger, suction valve, discharge valve ball in the chamber and cylinder, the oil pressure so built is utilized to lift the heavyweight.
The performance of hydraulic Jack depends on its design and quality which should never be compromised. HPP Group manufactures supreme quality hydraulic jack, hydraulic power pack, hydraulic cylinder, oil cooler, rotary union, hydraulic pump etc something you can rely on.
Thank you very much for the great article! Thanks for the revised and expanded version of the article. Great Work! I learnt a lot from your work,
