Hydraulic Jack – The Master of All

Jack we all know is basically a mechanical lifting device. It is used when heavyweights or loads need to lift. Jack can be different types based on the source of power it utilizes for example:

Mechanical jack – It uses principles of mechanics to lift basically it employs a screw thread for lifting heavy equipment.

Hydraulic jack – It uses hydraulic power. That is the potential power of liquid.

Among the common applications of a jack are car jack, floor jack, or garage jack, which lifts vehicles so that repair needs to be done.

Another way of differentiating between jacks could be the weight they are able to carry. Jacks are usually rated for a maximum lifting capacity. Industrial jacks being the strongest can be rated for huge tons of load.

Hydraulic jacks are not generally the ones used in cars carried along with the vehicle, they are basically used for shop work. With the help of a plunger, suction valve, discharge valve ball in the chamber and cylinder, the oil pressure so built is utilized to lift the heavyweight.
