What is hydraulic jack system and how it works

Hydraulic jack is a mechanism that is used to lift heavy loads by applying small force. There are force is generated by hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic jacks lift loads using the force created by the pressure in the cylinder chamber.

How hydraulic jack works?

There are five basic components that are working together in a hydraulic jack. Jack components and functionality are describing bellow.
  • One large cylinder with piston also called RAM
  • One smaller cylinder with piston
  • Hydraulic fluid or oil
  • Release valve
  • Check valves
All that components are arranged inside the hydraulic jack chamber. There large piston or RAM placed in the large cylinder. RAM also surrounded by hydraulic fluid.

A small piston in the small cylinder arranged outside from this main chamber. The small cylinder connected to the main chamber with the help of two pipe. There pipes attached with valve, one is used for suction and another is for discharge.

When the small piston is pulled then hydraulic fluid passes through the check valves and stored in small cylinder. When the small cylinder pushed back then hydraulic fluid passes through second valve and pushed large cylinder into upward direction. Larger cylinder also called load cylinder that used to lift the load up.

Advantages of using hydraulic jacks:

Hydraulic jack preferred by industry to lift heavy load by applying small force. There are several of advantages of using that jacks
  • Easy to use on personal and commercial places
  • Technically simple and understandable
  • Easy in maintenances
  • Cost efficient system
How the hydraulic jacks manufacturers leading industry?

Hydraulic jacks manufacturers trying their hard to lead the industry. Under make in India innovative they trying to provide high quality jack system at very affordable cost in India and beating the competition from other countries like china.
