Know How the Hydraulic Power Pack Works

Worm gear screw jack machines are available with the incorporation of stainless steel or an alloy worm. It is capable of driving a high power bronze worm gear or drive sleeve. The shaft of the worm is supported on anti-resistance narrowed roller bearings with external seals. These seals are provided to put the loss of lubrication off. On the other hand, the drive sleeve is held on anti-friction tapering ball thrust or roller bearings. When the drive sleeve rotates, it will cause the acme thread lifting screw to rotate or translate, according to the configuration of the jack. The notable design feature of the worm gear screw jack is that its threads are accurately formed to offer the best performance. It usually uses Class 2-Centralizing tolerances, offering the Jack lift shaft lead tolerance of about ±0.004 inches for each foot.
